I ordered this metal adapter instead of the plastic one because knowing me I probably would have stepped on the plastic adapter and broken it. This fountain pen worked great and I'm glad I ordered it. It had a good seal and I like the o-ring that came with it.

Adding gear oil to a Mercedes-Benz is not like adding oil to an American car. You have to pump it through the drain hole which has a max level tube going through the liquid. If fluid is dripping back, it means the transmission is overfilled. drip until it stops, then put the cork back in and go

This gear filler adapter worked very well. The threads are clean and fit perfectly into the gearbox drain hole with no leaks. For the price it's excellent. I wouldn't consider it a business, but for my personal use it's more than acceptable. The bottom unscrewed once during my installation when I was trying to remove the pipe originally attached, but all I did was cut the pipe, screw the bottom by hand and then screw the pipe shut by turning it clockwise remove.
