Review on Enhanced Transmission Fluid Filling Adapter for Benz 722.9 Auto Drive Line ATF by George Robinson

This gear filler adapter worked very well. The threads are clean and fit perfectly into the gearbox drain hole with no leaks. For the price it's excellent. I wouldn't consider it a business, but for my personal use it's more than acceptable. The bottom unscrewed once during my installation when I was trying to remove the pipe originally attached, but all I did was cut the pipe, screw the bottom by hand and then screw the pipe shut by turning it clockwise remove. I was able to service the transmission on my 2007 Mercedes Benz ML350 to Mercedes specification. I am very happy with the value of this tool. I don't know if the unthreaded end will fit EVERY quick connector as I've tried somewhat unsuccessfully. I just connected it to a 1/4" NPT male fitting with clear vinyl tubing and attached it to a 1/4" NPT air hose fitting. I used a 6 liter garden sprayer connected with a clear hose to a brass ball valve with appropriately sized barbed fittings and connected to a quick connect air hose connector. My pump setup, including this adapter, costs about $50. I've cleaned it up when it's done so it can be used as a garden sprayer or used again to fill this or any other transmission that uses the same adapter. In any case, it is clean and can be reused. I recommend this adapter unreservedly.
