Works well. Please note that it comes without a socket or wiring. Note. You will need a pigtail wire adapter coming out of the recessed bucket's socket to fit this fairing in order to have a socket that you can screw a lightbulb into.

Love these and they can be blacked out. Product details were incomplete (Halo easily fixed this). Remember that if the bulb burns out, you will have to replace all of these. I have four for a 12x12 room and my goodness she's bright!

In 2017 we renovated the house and replaced our ceiling lights with recessed bulbs. I replaced those cans with these so I can use HUE Smart Bulbs to control my lights via Alexa. Works great and you can control the lights if you want. This can come in handy when you want to highlight a piece of art on the wall. Highly recommended. They used to sell them in HD but no longer at my local store.

Updated four existing dose indicators that turned yellow over time. At first I was concerned about the installation, but once I figured out how to connect them, everything went quickly and easily. Also, they look clean and white. Farewell, eyesore! Not to mention the decent cost compared to big hardware stores. Please note this is not a full jar, just a lid. Lightbulbs are not included. I wasn't expecting something like this, but I know that with so many virtual options, it can be confusing. 😊

Looks fantastic. I had to replace the old yellowed lampshades and that helped. The existing socket plugs into a flashlight and attaches to the back of the eyeball cap. So easy. To remove the old one, simply unscrew the current bulb, slide out the old bulb, press the pins holding the cover in place to release the cover, and then press the clips to release the cover to detach the socket from the back. Less than 5 minutes to the light.

Great product. Note that it is specifically designed for use with RICAT E26 Series 6" Sealed Halo Lights. So to make a complete kit you will need five items: (1) 6" sealed halo light, (2) fairing (this item is one of many fairing options that will work); (3) E26 bulb; (4) 3/8" male clamp connector (H Series); and (5) a roll of tape.
