Description of Lens 7artisans 60mm f/2.8 MACRO Fujifilm X, black

One of the most affordable 1:1 macro lenses available for APS-C and Micro 4/3 mirrorless cameras. The lens shows good sharpness both in the center and at the edges, starting from the maximum aperture. Optimal values: from F4 to F8, at F11 and below, the softening effect of diffraction is turned on. Bokeh is quite pleasant, distortion is almost imperceptible, chromatic aberrations are at a low level.

I must say right away that I have a mk II version of the lens with internal focusing, for some reason it is not available separately on the market for some reason. You can argue about the clickless diaphragm, it doesn’t bother me at all. The focus ring is sharpened for macro - there the stroke is sufficient to work without interception in most cases, for non-macro the stroke will be small. I am satisfied with the lens, I obviously did not expect this for its price.

Pros
  • Compact size. Very good workmanship. It snaps onto the chamber reinforced concrete, the rings run smoothly and without a hint of backlash. Internal focusing (mkII lens version) Metal case. Excellent sharpness, minimal aberrations. Minimal focus breathing effect. Good packaging with foam inserts for safe delivery.
Cons
  • The disease of the Chinese is a downed infinity. On my copy of the flight, it’s good that at least it’s not underflying. The lens is clearly not APO, there is a slight coloring of the defocus zones. By the way, it is very moderate and for its price it is already more of a nitpick. Very short ring travel at normal distances. Literally 10 degrees from 1m to infinity, for portraits and landscapes, accuracy will not be enough. I would also like a lens hood in the kit, the Chinese have them for a penny, why not report .
