【Compact & Portable】: Full metal body, this lens is compact and portable. the 60mm F2.8 II is smaller in size(60mm in diameter, 74.5mm in length) and lighter(only 399g) in weight compares with the first generation. 【M4/3-mount Lens】: Short telephoto prime is designed for MFT M4/3-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 120mm equivalent focal length, which is very ideal for macro shooting, such as insect photography. 【11 Elements in 8 Groups & Ideal Aperture】: Its optical system consists of 11 elements in 8 groups. Premium manual macro lens

Although this lens is fully manual, it is simply amazing! Easy and high-precision focusing with a silky-smooth ring. It beats easily or at least equals the best I've tried!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Happy with what I've shot so far.

Great price. soft focus. Yes, it's manual only and it's easier to pan back and forth after focusing the lens to get focus. I would have preferred click stops for the bezel, but for the price I can live with that.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Can't remember

Not as handy as the Olympus 60mm but great price

Pros: Great picture Amazing price for a new macro lens Focus ring is nice Cons: I don't think focus stacking is possible as the focus of the camera changes too changes length. No auto focus

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Expensive

Awesome Budget Macro

Beautiful, sharp results at an affordable price. Heavier than most lenses, but smooth focusing is comfortable to use. Best used in controlled conditions but was able to take decent wildlife shots. With a sharp field like a razor, it can be difficult to get sharp shots spontaneously with this manual lens, but it's very enjoyable to use and learn.

Excellent macro lens, suitable for photography and still photography

I really like my 60mm 7artiaians lens. It's versatile and takes great macro and casual photos. Great value for money especially if this is your first time trying macro photography. The lens takes sharp photos and has a great feature that allows you to remove the retractable frame if you need to get up close. Overall a great buy for your money.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Tested on a6000 in lenses

First of all, I ordered the wrong mount. I wanted a mount and somehow ordered a micro 4/3. Revain gave me the opportunity to give it back. The E mount was out of stock so I left it and ordered an adapter which works great. With the a6000 I took some pictures in the home garden. I was impressed with the build quality and the image quality. I bought it based on a cheap YouTube video and I'm happy so far.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Buy It Now! in Lenses

If you are reading this you are looking for an affordable macro lens for video and photography. This lens is Revain's biggest secret. The video captured with this inexpensive macro lens is amazing. 7 artisans could charge 10x for this lens and it would be worth it. It might take some effort on your part to see an example of this lens in action, but if you're interested, go to Vimeo and search Wes O'Donnell's "Modelo Cerveza SPEC 30 Second TV Spot". All of this video shows you how great this…

Excellent macro lens - camera and photo

This macro lens is generally very good value for money. If you don't need autofocus on a macro lens, which most people don't really need, then this is a great way to save money on macro-capable glass. The front element is very small and the way the middle of the barrel pops out looks pretty odd, but the focus ring is very smooth and comfortable for macro photography, and the optics aren't bad. The front element is half the diameter of the outer tube, the built-in aperture protrudes quite a bit…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Amazing clarity for the price!

Before I bought this lens I had a Canon T4i and a Canon 100mm Ultrasonic Macro lens. But after switching to the Panasonic GH5, I wanted to get back into macro photography without having to buy a $600 lens. After a bit of googling I came across this lens and the photos I took with it and was shocked at the price. But after noticing the oddly protruding tube and lack of autofocus/iris, I was a little taken aback. But after thinking about how often I actually use autofocus in macro photography, I…
