Had this on my wish list for a long time, and I finally got some to use as bulk in the center of needle felted figures. It's a really great value, you can't really find better, unless you buy an insane amount. Color doesn't really matter, as it's going in the center of my work, but I can say, it's a very beautiful bright red, that is even in color throughout. Very soft, and has been entirely clean and free of any moldy smells I've gotten from other brands.

I was very disappointed in the quality of this roving. I should have bought roving from my usual sources for fiber, but the price attracted me. I may keep it since I will use it for felting and not spinning yarn.

I love this roving. It is perfect for my needle felting projects. I also ordered it in the black. The only thing that would be great is to offer some double packs together with a case for them. However, this item is wonderful!

This product is misleading. It will not felt like other 100% wool roving. There must be a synthetic fiber added to it. Also, there is no way the bundles are 8.8 ounces - maybe if they weighed the box too, but still, not even close. Very disappointed and unfortunately ordered it in numerous colors.

The roving was just as I expected it would be, and it came out very nice after I dyed it. I'm excited to spin it up! Thanks for attention!

My daughter, who has the habit and skill for doing felt critters, says that this wool is insanely well-suited for felting. It binds together readily, and is some of the best felting materiel that she has ever worked with. Well worth the full price.

This "natural" wool roving feels very rough, not soft at all. Also as soon as I opened it, I looked around and asked my kids if one of them farted. Nope, it was the wool. Literally smells like someone ate 5 jars of garlic and farted into the bag. I have never sealed a package up so fast. Thanks but no thanks.

I needed just the right color for needle felting pink pigs. This was perfect. I also love that there was so much wool in the package. The value is better than any other and the wool is perfectly suited for needle felting.

I purchase this wool to repair vintage pin cushions. Worked out perfectly. The color wasn't a issue that also made for a great price. Would but again.

The color of this wool is more rust than the dark orange shown by in the photo. Huge bummer. I took a photo with a paper bag and orange sheet of paper for comparison so others can really see what color you get.
