Disappointing Performance of Springs

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I find these springs to be unreliable with inconsistent compression and poor rebound. While the price is affordable the subpar quality negates the savings..

Damaged paint - likely rejected by QA

At half the price of the competition and in quantities that would suggest something was wrong. They were too good to be true for the price and rightly so. All nibs have paint damage, but that doesn't seem to affect the design. I want them to be honest about this, but they will likely work as intended.
