One of the buttons on our original remote has fallen off. We tried to tape it, but every time someone asked about the recording, we were embarrassed. Also, the tape kept falling off. It was a very easy decision. We stick some tape and then a silicone sleeve on top. VOILA! everything is tight and looks better than before. We also used a second cover to protect our specimen from falling buttons.

I wouldn't call the color I made peach, more like a hot pink but that suits me because I love pink! It fits perfectly with my 2014 Chevy Cruze remote start button fob. My car is a push button so I didn't have to push the button to lift the key but it looks like pushing through the silicone can be tricky. I have no issues with the case on top when pressing regular buttons, it keeps my key fob clean, tidy and makes my keys stand out.

It's not as dark red as I thought! But it's holding up pretty well. I like it. Matching the theme of my car. Red and black things. Soft, easy to clean, easy to find, easy to use. Problem. The material is quite soft, so inserting the physical key is not difficult. I originally got this so I could easily find my keys in the "key bowl". I've had a few compliments since wearing this - people have wondered if I'm bougie enough to make a custom key. or if i was smart enough covid i sprayed my key (i'm no taller either so both comments make sense).
