Good for the price.

Cheap plastic parts but the switch seems to work well and they are a lot cheaper than some of the more expensive brands control components (Allen-Bradley etc) I use them for prototyping so can't comment on durability really speak, but the mechanism seems pretty solid.

Pros
  • Industrial Switch
Cons
  • Only available in white

I used this switch for the control box for.

I used this switch on a home hydroponic garden controller. One side turned on the pump in hand, and the other worked in automatic mode. The closer on the car side only lasted 2 months. There was no voltage at the output of the contact when it was selected. This didn't last long.

Pros
  • Selector Switch
Cons
  • High Price

Overall the switch was fine but short lived. The contacts fail over time and you have to "tinker" with the switch to turn it on. Now it won't turn on until you hold it in the right position (i.e. don't push it in the direction you want). It was cheap so I'm giving it 2 stars because it lasted a year. The usage was low current (drives the output of a PID controller going through a switch and then driving a relay to switch a high load element so the switch only handles the low current needed to…

Pros
  • Industrial Electrics
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
