For the sake of your pet, please don't buy this inhumane "aquarium" excuse. It's too small to accommodate an animal. Of course Bettas CAN live in small areas, but humans CAN live in a closet if given food and water. But would you? Your Betta doesn't want it either.

This aquarium is too small for betta or goldfish. There is very little space for swimming. A heater cannot be used in such a small aquarium, which is important for bettas, which are tropical fish. Fish excrement accumulates quickly, so you need to change the water quite often. While the bettas are small, the goldfish will quickly outgrow this tank. If you want to keep pet fish, do your research and find out how you can meet their needs.

I did not order this product for roosters or goldfish, but for sea monkeys. Can't tell if this is a suitable home for fish.
