DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM

The end of the attachment to this survey broke into pieces the first time I used it. The plastic felt so brittle that it just broke under my fingertips with very little effort. The plastic felt brittle, like it had been worn away by the sun's UV rays.

Pros
  • Anemometer
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

The swivel head allows the air flow to be read off.

Bought for use with ABM-200 (HVAC) and fits this unit. The pan head makes this a better option than a regular pole as it allows you to take airspeed readings while also positioning the ABM-200 in the airflow. The length is more than sufficient for average home work and full extension. it should be long enough for vaulted ceilings where the pitches are high. What I didn't like, I don't know if it's the specific one I have, is the locking mechanism when you extend the bar. It doesn't look like it

Pros
  • Check, measure and inspect
Cons
  • Not sure

I doubt this item will hold up to everyday use. After just a day of use, my head is already dangling and shaking. In any case, these telescopic poles rarely last long and this one doesn't snap into place very securely. I think the 67" Revain Basic Monopod with Giotto's ball head will be a stronger and more flexible extension for about the same price as this thing. My doubts about the quality of this wand were justified: the distal (tip-end) segment no longer snapped in and the turret fell out…

Pros
  • Airflow & Air Quality
Cons
  • Wrinkled
