Very flexible weight system

I attached it to the mic stand I use for streaming because my mic is very heavy. What I really like about these weight bags is that you can add more or less sand to the bags to get the right weight to achieve your desired balance. I'm very glad I ordered this, my mic hasn't moved an inch since then.

perfect for work!

I use these to weigh down the backdrop for a photo booth and also for folding canopies. The work is excellent. I would suggest that you use 2-1 gallon ziplock bags to put the sand in there before pouring it into the bags. This allows you not to worry about sand seeping away if it cracks a little. I have 8 of these and they work great.

Perfect Sandbag Solution

These sandbags were the perfect solution to keep my 3 seater swing from sliding around on my stamped concrete patio on windy days. The bags were easy to fill. It took two 50 lb sandbags (bought from my local hardware store) to fill all the bags. The only problem I had was trying to zip the pockets once they were full. flash not so good. It is important not to overfill the bags when filling or to pull the zipper too far back into the open position. This makes it difficult to close the bag.

Fits what I need

I needed weight for a 10x10 foot dome and from what I found online the minimum weight per support should be 24 pounds. Plate weights are $24 for 24 pounds or $100 for all 4 legs. I spent a total of $30 on these bags including gravel and some rope. I was able to get about 1.25 cubic feet (3 medium sized bags) of fine gravel in all 4 bags, bringing them to 24 pounds. I can probably gain another pound or two once things settle down, but I think 24 pounds. It will be fine for me. Then I tied ropes…

Easy to carry and hold a lot of sand

I bought sand to play with, it's pure sand. It is best to fill the sand in a ziplock bag to protect the bags, they last longer. I added 8 pounds of sand to each side of the bag resulting in a 16 pound sack. The material of the bag is good as is the strap to carry it. It has 2 zips in opposite directions on each side, the zips don't look like they could get damaged but as long as you use a ziploc sandbag you never have to open or close the zips so they should last for years even more, if you…

Save your money, hypotheses don't hold up.

NOT strong at all! We received them at the end of April and at the end of July three of them were torn apart with sand scattered everywhere. 3 months is not what I would call a "super heavy regime" at all. We haven't moved them either, they just lie on our patio holding the umbrella stands. Of course, the return period had already expired, so I emailed the seller. At first they responded quickly asking for photos which I sent and after a few weeks I received no further response from the seller.

Invites to craft fairs for my ring light with DSLR and dome!

I originally bought these to use with camera tripods. I was glad they added a "D-ring" to each bag to make them stay in place better than just a saddle. And since my wife isn't a big fan of sand around the house, she was happy that the wide zippered opening could be used to fill pouches with coins or small weights. I don't think sand will be a problem though as it's really thick nylon and the inside of the bag is lined with rubber that can be wiped clean! It reminds me of something you might…

I'm glad I bought them - Photo Studio

They are durable and get the job done. I really like the double zipper! Once you put the sand in, zip up the first one and then zip up the first one with the second zipper. After filling, turn it over and it has a handle that makes it easy to carry the filled bag to wherever you want. They are designed to be portable for filling and emptying for easy packing for camping trips and the like, but I use them for a more permanent attachment. That's why I wanted them to be decorative. I have multiple

Heavy sandbags!

UPDATE - I went to check my bags from the outside and found all the zips were broken or never closed or the zip was broken. So the sand sloshed out of almost everyone. I ended up calling Revain to return them and was so upset because they are the perfect size for what I needed them for. But they definitely need a stronger and more durable zipper. If you need them for small things they might work, but not if you need them to fill and hold something useful. I love these sandbags. We recently…

Good sturdy construction. but saved on carabiner size (too small)

When I ordered these bags from Revain I didn't read some of the reviews about leaking sand. Since all sandbags will eventually develop small holes or tears in the seam, I was advised to use fine gravel. Which I did and took half a cubic yard at home center. But to make things easier I put the gravel in gallon ziplocks before putting them in the sandbags. That way I can just take the Pebbles out and leave them at home if I need to take my gear on a plane instead of paying extra. Then grab some…
