Exactly what I need. My mechanic used it on my bikes and was impressed. I was very satisfied, there were no scratches on my newly prepared rims. Good value for money!

It didn't fit my wheel. Didn't have to wreck the wheel, but it doesn't even fit. Maybe it's not the outlet's fault. Seems to be well made, too bad I couldn't try it before buying it.

Just received this to protect my drives when they are removed for rotation. Use it on ONE eyelet for fit and durability and on ONE eyelet everything works fine. Very heavy and seems solid at the moment but that's ONE stud, I'll see next tire change.

This nut works well with a jackhammer but is not an impact nut. When used with an air pistol, the socket broke on the side, both metal and plastic. Otherwise good value for money if you don't want to use it to great effect.

Completed 6 wheel changes before the bead split when used on a percussion bar (not a percussion gun). A scratch on the wheel first defeats the point without a scratch. not the strongest socket anyway.

Well made product, wheel and nut guard as described. While it's an alloy I'm not familiar with that can withstand the forces associated with using an impact wrench, it seems too easy to hold up in normal or sustained impact. But it should be fine for temporary effects, and it's worth the price.

worked 6 wheel changes before splitting the side when used on a pry bar (not a percussion gun). What's even more frustrating is that when it broke, the grip flipped and I got a decent scratch on the wheel, defeating the non-distortion point in the first place. Not the strongest outlet anyway.

Bought for a new wheel set I have on my Fj Cruiser. I needed a skinny wall socket as the holes are smaller than usual. This didn't work for me as there is a protective white plastic coating around it to prevent rubbing or scratching the lug holes. Some models like this allow you to remove the cover, but this one proved to be glued and permanent.

Looks good. The outer diameter of this rosette is slightly larger than my manual deep socket. I figured that a thin wall would give me a smaller diameter, or at least the same diameter as a regular outlet, but that's not the case. The white plastic protective cover on the outside makes it look larger than a regular outlet and doesn't go well with the recessed bezel I have.
