Great quality when all the terminals are there

The first one worked great so I bought the second one for another project. It was missing a terminal so I had to buy it for double the price and return this one.

Replaced the pigtail power cord in my caravan.

Replaced the power cord in my caravan with this socket and matching fuse cord. It's much nicer that way and you don't have to worry about the braid coming out of hiding and jumping behind the pendant.

Pros
  • Excellent overall quality
Cons
  • Not bad

difficult conditions. thick material. Well constructed.

Mine has been labeled so you know which terminal is which. It is on the back of the black cover. Letter W and earth symbol. Very strong product - expect years of service. The lid snaps firmly into place. Seals behind and in the door. A very well constructed product.

Seems fine for a freshwater boat

I have installed two of these on a moored freshwater boat. Everything seems fine, but I believe the set screws that came with it were ceramic alloy and not stainless steel. I reused the stainless steel screws from the plugs I replaced. I would probably recommend more weatherproof for offshore boats.

My item arrived quickly and met my expectations

This was a direct replacement for a defective item on my motorhome when I bought it. The former fortification was made of wood and was broken on the inside. This item was intended to replace the original. It was 1/8 inch smaller on the sides and allowed the yellow to show through. Hence a 4 1/2 star rating was required. Otherwise fits and works perfectly. Also, my cable didn't fit at all when I installed it. I had to bend the ends in this item to fit a standard 30 amp cord connector. However, I

Protects against rainwater and insects.

I've noticed water getting into my Aliner motorhome where the power cord goes through the side panel so I bought that and a power cord plug and it works great. I had to make the base plate out of a piece of thick plastic to make up for the difference in the larger hole. (The YouTube guy used a cheap dollar store chopping board and cut it off.) It's secure and waterproof, and no more trying to reconnect the cord to the side of the RV, just unplug it, roll it up, and store . It's in one of the…

Replaced the mouse hole style power connector on my camper

I got tired of running my camper's power cord through the mouse hole and decided to make a switch. " around an existing hole that was larger than required for this product. I walked in and knew this. I was concerned at first because the pins on the inlet seemed to move a lot, but it all went away once I pulled it off properly and had inserted and tightened the wires. Installation was very easy.: White wire in white hole, green in green, black in black. Easy. Assembly is also easy - four holes -
