Flawed Design Hinders Automotive Installations

This socket is a headache to work with! The pin interlocking system is frustrating and makes it difficult to get a secure connection. On the plus side, it feels sturdy and long-lasting. Unfortunately, the poor design overshadows any potential benefits. Save yourself the trouble and opt for a different interlocking socket.

Pros
  • Easy to install and interlock with other relay sockets, ensuring a secure and reliable electrical connection.
Cons
  • Relatively expensive compared to simpler, non-interlocking relay sockets.

Works well. - Interior

These are surprisingly hard to find at local dealerships. There is nothing special about them, but they are exactly what I needed and wanted.

Okay, but the relays don't match.

It's okay if you're not picky. I bought these to use with the EP27 flasher relay. The pins aren't spaced correctly so a 5 pin relay won't fit fully into the socket and sit flush - all pins should curve slightly towards the center which is 1/8-1/4. " a distance you can't travel. It causes quite a bit of friction to hold the relay in the socket, so I think that's an advantage. In a car or in a protected area, that's probably fine, but I wouldn't use it in places that will be exposed to water…

Pros
  • 12VDC 5 pin latching relay connector
Cons
  • Creased
