Absolute Black Chainring Direct Boost148 Review

I was skeptical about the oval shape but I pulled the trigger and it changed my game. I installed the 32T on the MTB and at high speeds you don't notice any difference other than climbing on the bike. Also, I have a knee injury and this chain really helps relieve the pressure on my knees, so I don't like it.

I was going to upgrade from 30t to 32t anyway so I went with Absolute Black. The price is a little cheaper than on the website and the delivery was much faster. It's hard to see the difference in the mountains because I've shifted up, but I notice it on the long straights. Apparently I can give the crank more power. It was easy to swap out on my 2020 Giant Fathom 1 MTB. I was concerned that it doesn't have a 3mm offset, but it does.
