Cons

Cheap and easy to use!

I actually chose these for low voltage landscape lighting - the manufacturer's version will cost you about $5 per bulb. I play it safe and seal them with silicone to make them waterproof - not really necessary but it prevents corrosion. Ease of installation. holds safe.

Pros
  • Auto Electronics Accessory
Cons
  • Some bugs

Good quality and cheap.

There's nothing more to say. These aren't genuine "3M Scotchlok" units, but they're a lot cheaper and appear to be of relatively good quality. Maybe a bit bigger than the 3M version, but definitely usable. I use them to redo the wiring harness on my road bike which has a lot of vibration and I'm not worried.

Pros
  • car audio and video installation
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Fake Scotchlock connectors but still usable

Bought a pack of these (much more than I will ever need) on a flyer. You'll need channel-locking pliers to hook the V-blades onto the wires to be joined, and a bit of fiddling to engage the connector, especially if the secondary wire is larger than 18 gauge. But they work. If you only need a few I would try the Scotchlock brand and pay a bit more assuming you have less time wiring and shorting.

Pros
  • Car Electronics
Cons
  • Small Parts
