This was an easy to use and easy to install product. The fan fits perfectly in my 1U rack and works very well. It's a bit noisy when you turn it on at maximum speed, but otherwise it's a worthwhile investment for keeping the rest of your hardware from overheating. Storage at idle temperatures ensures a longer service life. The temperature control on them is pretty accurate and I use them to automate my setup. A small but nice fan for my entertainment center. I think this 19 inch rack is just what I need to complete my set. The automatic speed control allows me to run the fan when needed and turn it off automatically when not needed. I think the included 6ft power cord was enough to get to the surge protector, but everyone's situation is different. The overall performance of the fan is very quiet, and once my media center was closed I couldn't hear anything.

So far all the AC Infinity products I've bought have been of high quality. I previously bought a T10 fan and then decided on a T5 rack fan (mainly for looks) and have two AC Infinity drawers. The fan is very easy to install, runs quietly and smoothly, and has a nice matte finish. The finish goes well with my Marantz receiver. Keeping your electronics cool is highly recommended.
