My dog would rather starve than eat this scent.

My dog hates the taste of turkey and pumpkin. I've tried everything. Mix it with broth, mix it with real meat, mix it with other dog food. He starves himself instead of eating. Now I have to throw away two months of food and $60 to buy a new one because he just won't eat it.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Legacy

Helped my child with bowel movements and digestion

I have a Bulldog/Pitbull/Labrador mix and my baby's stools are always the perfect consistency. It is so helpful in improving my child's overall health. I have been feeding my baby ZIgnature but wanted to find something more affordable and really good for my baby's overall health and I have tried this product and am happy.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good quality is best in food

I have to believe what my sweet little dog tells me about his food! My sister came to visit with her dog for a few days and they brought Acana food. It was a variety of lamb and apples. My little girl who is very picky about her food immediately ran over and started eating this food when my sister put it down for her dog. I decided to try the bag for my girl and she ate it straight away. The ingredients seem to be very good.

Pros
  • Enjoyment
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Not so much: dogs

I bought a small bag of these in Portland or a small independent pet food store to see if my pug would eat it as she was a very picky eater and loved them, gobbled them up it got up all the way, fell on the bag, couldn't get enough etc so I figured that's it, I've finally found a replacement for the super expensive raw food I've been buying for months that my dog has always been warm with enthusiasm. A big bag comes, I open it, pour in a puppy who comes up, sniffles and leaves. I can leave a…

Great quality duck food, what any dog wants in terms of protein

A 14 year old very irritable pug at home - not me - has been fed chicken for the past 6 months since refusing the food. Over the years I have only fed my dogs very high quality food and duck based food has always been my food of choice especially for my working and ranch dogs and my Labbie companions also loved duck food. So I figured why not try after a lot of dog food research as there have been so many shocking scandals over the years, plus meat that came from a tank problem. No animal of…

No luck with ACANA from Revain

Attention simple buyer: I have been feeding my dog ACANA duck and pear for over 4 years. I've always bought 25 pound bags at the pet store in our previous town and most recently ordered online from PetCo. PetCo came out recently, about 4-6 weeks ago, so I ordered a 13lb bag of Revain (this product). My dog suddenly had inexplicable bilious vomit after we opened this new pack and started feeding him. Otherwise nothing has changed, the vet was fine and we switched to a gentle diet. We also…
