ACASIS HDD 2 Review

Total Transparency. I just unpacked it and played with it once. I haven't had time to actually use it and test its capabilities. I bought it for an upcoming trip to Italy to transfer photos every night so as not to overload the camera/phone. So again, I can't legally give it 5 stars. But so far I've been really impressed with its looks and packaging and it looks like it's going to work well for me.

Connected to the computer exactly twice. The first time I made a backup copy of all the files from the project. Now I reattached it to add more updated files and all original files are gone and no new files can be added. I'm in the middle of a research trip right now, far from where I can get Revain delivery or buy an affordable replacement to back up my stuff. DO NOT BUY THIS CHARACTER.

The design is chic (I bought gold. To my pleasant surprise, it turned out to be more pink gold). I'm not tech savvy but I just googled how to reformat the drive for my MacBook Air as soon as it arrived and I haven't had any problems so far. Once I did that it let me rename it and so far I haven't had any problems. I just got it yesterday (decent shipping, took about 4 days) so I'll update later when I've tested it for a while.

So far the product seems great! It's like any flash drive or SD chip, just plug it in and you're done. The only thing I didn't expect is that it's actually only 111GB and not 120GB. When I received it, the system already had 111MB allocated, which is to be expected but still a little annoying. It's a bit smaller than the iPhone 7 and almost the same color as the iPhone 7. It doesn't bother me when I'm using my computer because the cable is long enough to tuck away. So far, so good!

I had no reason to complain. It's compact and light and works as it should. I bought this to expand my WiiU system and the WiiU USB ports don't supply enough power so I also bought a Y-cable to connect to BOTH WiiU USB ports and it works great .

The product looks cheap and the grammar in the manual is terrible, which indicates that this device is not of very good quality. When I connect my device to my computer, it is very noisy. Sometimes it shows my documents and files and sometimes it doesn't. I would not recommend that.
