Specially designed for 1974 to 1989 GM V8s. Made from a high performance 60kV rated alkyd compound. Brass inserts and stainless steel rotor springs allow unrestricted spark energy flow.

Great Price - Lid and Rotor Kit

Lid is thinner than most working lids but works great so far. I would buy them again if they are still available if needed.

Quality cover and rotor kit

Replacing the ACCEL cover and rotor that I replaced on my Z28 about 20 years ago. It has to stay that way until 2039 or I'll be riding in a coffin, whichever comes first!

Terminal hole is smaller than OEM

thick and good quality. The only downside is that the hole for the two connector plugs is slightly smaller than in the stick cover. I had to apply dielectric grease between the two connectors to help them slide and snap into the terminal cavities.

ACCEL 8122 Distributor Cap and Rotor Kit - Tan Much better looks, fit and finish than junk sold at local big parts stores let alone titles. One of the other reviewers mentioned an MSD cap and rotor kit in another review to use dielectric grease on both sides of the rubber washer under the coil, so I did that and ran like clockwork, no moisture infiltration and no loss of spark transmission during the run . Buy with confidence. Raging rat

the accelerator cap and rotor kit are really good, i use accel products all the time

the accelerator cap and rotor kit are really good, i use accel products all the time. This boost cap and rotor replaced the MSD cap and rotor I thought I'd try and the MSD cap and rotor never lasted 10,000 miles. I'm really not sure I will ever buy MSD products again, I think the quality of MSD has gone down over the past few years and Accel products have always been better in my opinion. MSD just didn't work for me so I went with Accel parts.
