These hubcaps do not fit well on my 2004 VW Jetta (stock wheels). They are either too loose or too tight depending on the orientation of the snap ring (up or down in the top or bottom slot). At best, these hubcaps do not sit flush with the wheels like the OEM hubcaps do.

Everything worked fine on our 2000 Passat steel rims/snow tires over the winter. When I went shooting the other day, I can very cautiously add that 2 cracked and the mounting tabs broke. I carefully used a plastic body trim tool right where the "tongue" enters the rim and they still pop. They are very fragile, not like the factory plastic caps.

Item looks like what I need, but some materials are damaged. The first time I was wondering if it was a warehouse or a trucking company. No problem. I sent them back and they sent me a new product. The second order arrived in a double box. The outer box was in perfect condition but when I opened it the product box had a hole on the side and was a little wrinkled. When the product was removed I had the same result as the first time! I sent it back - Again! Third time - charm? I hope!

This is what other people have described. easy to assemble and appears to be well made. I researched how to place the VW logo in the center. These caps come with a removable black plastic core. Go on ebay or something and look for a VW hubcap decal, 90mm (3.5"). A lot of people sell aluminum alloy decals for about $10 for a set of four. I was really surprised that they fit my 2001 Jetta. I found these after looking for replacements for my original caps and they were cheaper than buying an original cap with the VW logo in the middle. For that price I could buy two sets of 4 instead of one cap. The metal ring holding the cap/applying pressure to hold it seems cheap but should hold up well enough.
