I was hoping they would fit my thick hair as promised but they are just like all the other large clips and just don't have enough teeth to hold both hairs. You're trying to hold on, and so is the hair on your head to keep everything in place. They will likely still work well for medium hair.

Don't expect to rest your head comfortably on a pillow with these clips. They are long, tall and wide. When you need to put together a big bun, these hair clips will definitely accommodate it all. They fit me perfectly, although I wouldn't mind if they ran a little smaller.

I bought this because I wanted a large clip as I have thick hair. The clip is long, but the claws themselves are not long enough. I tried to use it but my hair kept falling out because the clip wasn't big enough. This clip is suitable for fine/medium hair owners, but not suitable for thick hair owners. It was just frustrating buying a product made specifically for thick hair, and the clip isn't even as big as the regular ol' clip you can get at Walgreens.

The description is correct, it is for thick hair. I had read reviews saying it was great for fine hair so I bought it thinking it would work for me as I have very long and fine hair. Not suitable for thin hair, no matter the length. The product rating is not a product defect so I am giving 5 stars as I think if you had thicker hair it would definitely feel strong and secure. This is not for fine hair, it won't hold your hair unless it's thick.

I noticed a comment that said "Not for fine hair". In fact, I have very, very long thin hair and this bobby pin duo worked really well with my hair! I was so pleased that I went back to Revain to "buy again". and I have ordered more clips from the ACCGLORY store! I also ordered some hair ties and a container. Most of these items had coupons. Look out for the pictures! These are NOT two large bobby pins! This is a large and a standard size. Brackets are no worse than any other. Just don't expect to get two big ones.

Holds the hair well and I like the look. However, there are small imperfections, chips on one end of each hair claw. But that doesn't really affect the overall picture.
