Suitable for MTD lawn tractor

The old MTD valve core corroded and broke off inside the valve stem when trying to remove it. This TR412 valve stem was an exact replacement and was easy to install. As I only needed one I just wish they were cheaper and/or cheaper in a 2 pack.

Pros
  • High quality: made of brass and synthetic EPDM rubber. These valve stems withstand a wider temperature range than natural rubber stems and remain flexible even in the coldest weather.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I don't use them on tires, I used them to beef up a can of WD-40

It's weird writing a review about valve stems that I never intended to use on tires. I had a can of WD-40 that was out of fuel but had plenty of lube left and I didn't want it to go to waste. I needed one but they come in packs of four so I think I'll have it when I need it for the tires. I can tell you they work fine if I seal the stem of the can and take pressure off my air compressor. I see no reason why they wouldn't make a spike on the hoop.

Pros
  • . Goes through rigorous quality control to ensure you won't encounter air leaks. Accepts air pressure up to 65 psi (4.5 bar / 448 kPa).
Cons
  • Can't remember

ACCRETION TR412 rubber clip-on tire valve stem. Works as it should.

I have a wheelbarrow with a 15 inch tire. It was flat so I used my compressor, unfortunately the stem popped out due to the rubber. Corrosion. I've never replaced a stem in a tubeless tire but decided to give it a try as it's not worth replacing the same type of tire considering how often it's used. Took out the old stem, measured the hole size and ordered this item as it said it was the size I needed. Had to pry back the tire near the hole which was a little tricky as it was a tough old rubber

Pros
  • Packing: 4 pcs TR413 locking valve stem
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
