🔧 Accusize Tools 0061-0250 Steel Review

Have been working as a locksmith for 12 years, use pins every day, people took my pins otherwise I would have lost them, decided to buy them to have a fresh new set . The ends of the pins are not flat, they have a beveled edge. I made them flat so I can check ID depth, they are good pins. Being from Vermont I would say it is a good value. I have a set of small pin gauges and next will be .061-.250 gauges. It's worth it.

I bought 2 boxes for dad (.061-.250 and .251-.500). Model 0.251-0.500 came with a damaged aluminum box. And the pieces are also damaged. So I decided to return both boxes. Turns out I had to pay $30 to ship a box (.061-.250) from the US to Canada to get a refund. This box is only $80. Feel still... Number labels are printed in white on a transparent plastic film. So it was very difficult to see.

I bought a metal case to make sure I could fit the Zerust tab and have a good latch, but that was already in there with the VCI sheet! Unlike other reviewers, mine came intact with no damage, everything is there. I expected them to be oily and they are, but it appears to be pure oil and not the used motor oil you find on cheaper Chinese tools. I'm very happy now but don't know how long the foam will last (I think it would be an Achilles cure, foam doesn't like being exposed to oil).
