Straight out of the box. is it rust

Will update with use. but that is the first impression. the part is rusty. What about the rest of the inside of this tenths indicator? Wait, there is no calibration/verification certificate either?

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Will not be repeated - Blinkers and accessories

This arrived whole and ready to use but it did not repeat. On my surface panel with a set of sensors it varies by up to 3 tenths and returns in the 4 tenths range. My Mitutoyo 10ths DI was within a few hundredths and will return within the same so I have confidence in my setup. I have returned this item.

Pros
  • Test blinker
Cons
  • Something else

Check Bezel for Seat

This is a great little dial, small enough to fit in tight spaces and precise enough for tool making. Unfortunately, as another reviewer reports, the framework for setting the numbers is loose. For me it not only gets lost, but pops out when rotated, jamming the stylus and adding more variables to the already difficult process of getting accurate measurements.

Pros
  • Check, measure and check
Cons
  • Discontinued
