Positive rake makes for smooth cutting without chatter. Carbide indexable. 3pcs/set: 1/4", 1/2", 1-1/4" (each cutter comes with 1 pc insert installed). No tool resharpening needed. Triangle inserts (additional inserts are sold seperately) for 1/4"-3/4" x 1/2"shank is TCMT32.51 (item #2224-1034). Square insert ( additional inserts are sold seperately) for 1/2" - 1-3/4" x 1/2"shank, SCMT431 suqare insert for 1-1/4" - 2-1/4" x 3/4"shank is SCMT431 (item #2224-1058).

Disappointing Countersink Bit

Based on my experience, this bit was a letdown. While it was marketed as an industrial and scientific tool, it failed to perform up to par. The pros were that it was affordable and appeared durable. However, the cons were its lack of precision and the difficulty of achieving a clean cut. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product for those in need of a reliable and accurate countersink bit.

Tool quality is very good for triangular bits

jury oasis haven't gotten around to it yet, tried a few times with the smallest cutter out of the three, I shouldn't have set the correct speed The quality of the tool is very good for the price.

Feeds & Speeds - Power & Hand Tools

Depending on the selected countersink diameter, knowing the speed and the feed rate z per minute determines the quality of the countersink. It would be nice if this company included some basic feeds and speeds for each countersink diameter as a starting point.
