This is a genuine GM part. Fits perfectly, very good price, would highly recommend purchasing this item for an upcoming refurbishment.

perfect fit, better price than any other parts store and received quicker too. The original has rusted around the base of the whistle.

The metal pipe on my factory unit broke making the exhaust fumes very annoying. I also smelled exhaust gas in my car idling. This had to be replaced with a car on a hoist as access to the lower stud was difficult. Replaced and it fit perfectly.

I installed this item about 2 weeks ago. There was a large tear in the thin metal section of the tube, covered with cloth material, from which air was escaping. I got the EGR seal from the dealer and it was ready to install. Replacing this part wasn't much fun, but it reduced underhood noise and improved performance. 170,000 km driven by car.
