because it didn't fit perfectly. I had to grind a little.

This review is premature but after using it I will add more. I ordered one for my 2003 Buick Lasabre for $59 8 months ago. He, like this one, didn't fit perfectly. I had to grind the case under a mounting screw. The old one was 2nd "step" compared to the others but worked fine for 8 months. I don't see any difference between the two other than a slightly different squirrel cage runner, a Taiwanese sticker on a cheap one and a Vietnamese sticker on "ACDelco OEM". If it lasts 12 years like the…

Perfect fit for 2003 Cadillac Deville DHS, runs like new.

Ideal for 2003 Cadillac Deville DHS. Luckily, removing the fan is easy if you can lie on your back and tuck your head under the dash. The rear screw (of the three that attaches it to the chassis) is the only one that's a bit difficult to get out, but a small socket wrench with a 2-inch extension will do. It took me 15 minutes to swap it out, but I knew exactly how to do it. I've removed my old fan twice before to clean the manifold and brushes. There was one bearing that started to squeak so I…

Perfect fit, absolutely silent

This was for the noisy fan in my 2003 Cadillac Deville. The packaging says Made in USA. The fan has a sticker that says Made in Vietnam. The original says Made in Korea. Original metal, new plastic. Installation was very easy. You remove the knee roll panel and look at the fan on the right under the dash. Move a few wires/connectors to the side. There is an air pipe to cool the engine; Delete it. An electrical connector on the fan; Clear. Three screws come out and then the airflow stops. My old

Not exactly the same, but still great.

I spent extra money because of the good reviews and the encouragement to buy OEM. I was very upset to find that this engine is not quite the same as the one I took out. My 2002 Buick LeSabre had the original engine part number 52495945. The bolt holes did not match the new engine. The box (on the side of the car) that the motor was attached to had 2 round "tabs" (about 1/2 inch to position the motor properly) with screws that easily screwed in by about 1/4 inches offset. There was no edge on…
