🔧 GM Genuine Parts HVAC Blower Motor 15-80665 with Wheel Review

1999 Suburban 1500 (first owner): Original engine stopped working after 260,000 miles. I ordered this part and it was the perfect fit to replace the factory engine. The replacement was pretty easy, using online videos; I needed to fix a burned electrical connector (the current in the cord was burned due to the old motor's excessive current load). The engine fits and runs great. I hope this one lasts as long as the original.

A VDO part was available from Autozone. I ordered this for more than double the price because it is an air conditioner which is usually a higher end part on a Chevy. It took several weeks for the blower to be delivered. The box was in rough condition but the item looked ok. OEM fits and works. This AC Delco replacement fan is essentially the same as the original. The rear of the fan housing is closed rather than open on the motor shaft, but that's the only difference I've seen that doesn't affect performance. All other shapes, dimensions, mounting holes, wiring, etc. are exactly the same as the original. It's also a fairly simple solution.
