Fits my 2009 Pontiac G5 perfectly. The included mounting ring made the installation really easy as you have to cut out the original fan motor. It is usually factory sealed. All in all, the job took about 25 minutes. The fan works great and came just in time because winter is here.

Installation went smoothly. It worked very well for just over a year and broke down one night after several hours of heavy rain. However, when it dried up, it came back to life and everything seems fine! This puts it one step above the factory original. The installation set fits perfectly. The attached chart was very helpful. It helped to watch some videos on YouTube before work.

Works Great Faster than the old one that was replaced in a 2009 Chevy Cobalt took some time to remove the old one. When taking off 2 blades broke, it was not difficult to replace them with a new one. No noise, well, not for me. Just in time for the heat although I wish I had had winter heat XD The only thing it needs is to come with 7 screws instead of 6, the top cap needs an old screw and another new screw to do well keep. Another thing is that the BIG article is working great at the moment.

Buy a genuine part. We started by buying parts. Bad choose. The screw holes were misaligned by 1/4" and the fan motor failed to install. Installation is a bit tricky as the case needs to be cut out under the dash. This is not the parts manufacturer's fault. This is GM. Design issue. See attached video. I received the product in an open box when I ordered a new one. The motor and fan look new as there is no dust on the fan, on the motor or inside. I noticed that the engine mounts are very tight. I could hardly turn it by hand. Because of this, I decided to test it out on a workbench before wasting the time and effort cutting out an old fan assembly. So if you are not willing to take such a risk, be prepared to pay someone to do it. The item fits perfectly and comes with instructions. replaced an OEM unit after a 45 minute operation (bluerectomy) to remove a dead, dare I say blown up engine. Unlike most aftermarket models, this one actually came with 6 screws to reinstall the lower half of the fan housing that was cut off. As mentioned, only 8 screws are required to get the job done. 2 additional screws are needed to replace the bottom cover.
