The fluid return hose was bent in a little and had to be carefully bent back, most likely during shipping. The packaging was terrible, should have been packed with more protection. Plus it worked like a charm.

Chinese GM parts are not the same as genuine GM parts, the same GM part number but different parts configuration is not suitable. After four weeks of waiting, I realized that Chinese parts are absolutely useless for my car. Don't waste your time and money, don't buy Chinese parts.

I bought this and sent it to my uncle's house in 5 hours. Eventually he managed to get the truck to the store and it turned out to be the wrong one in the end. I only did it to pick it up to return and the return window is "closed" a month after purchase. Now I'm stuck with this power steering pump that won't fit in any of my 9 GMT 400 trucks. Perfect replacement for my '99 K2500 Silverado. The tank is actually galvanized rather than bare, both look good and will resist corrosion for years. The only complaint is that it comes with a newer cap marked with a picture instead of the correct "power steering cap" for my truck. I actually had to replace the electronic variable steering control valve. It took about 45 minutes and in that time I completely disassembled and cleaned all the old parts.

This does not fit my 1998 Chevy K2500 Silverado as Revain said. Before purchasing I did my best to make sure this new pump would match my old one. Although both my old pump and this one look the same, when you unplug the blue connector on the back of the new pump you can see that it does not fit into the factory electronically adjustable connector (EVO component) that it was attached to my original pump . I bought this pump based on the reviews for a good deal. Well I was wrong. I should have taken the bad reviews more seriously and ignored the positive comments. I think they are just there to lure you in. Read the negatives and base your decision on them. I took a risk and lo and behold, I warn you against it. Put this in my truck and after 200 miles the pump is already failing. I don't move the steering wheel even when I'm idling. You have to move the truck to make the steering wheel turn. A…
