Allegedly OEM-compatible Radiator cap

This cap actually looks like an OEM cap in the photos, but it is very thin and cheaply made. Better buy a regular radiator cap. I gave it three stars because it kept my cooler from leaking and I only use it until I try to restore my original cap. I'll switch to a shared hat if I can't rebuild. Honestly it's so thin I'm afraid the heat will melt it.

Pros
  • Radiator cap
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Unusable for less than a year. It does not have an AC Delco or OEM GM label.

Radiator cap failed in less than a year. The plastic lid is loose and does not catch on the metal part of the lid when opening and closing. In addition, this cap, when fully closed, will leak under normal pressure. Complete failure! It has no AC Delco or OEM GM markings. I think it's a copy or a fake. This is by no means a real AC Delco.

Pros
  • Radiator cap
Cons
  • Nothing

ACDelco or a cheap fake?

Ordered together with other items and received the next day! Very cool! I tested my original case and it failed. I tested the "new" cap with my pressure test kit and it failed (could not hold vacuum). I checked out a good one in my suburb just to make sure it was good. Revain's auto response was very good. Not sure if I just had a bad apple or if it was genuine AC Delco part. I compared my old to the new and the new one was very cheap and light.
