great OE replacement

On my 92km run in the Yukon 05 fuel economy suffered for a while so I decided to replace the O2 sensors and the mileage recovered almost immediately.

Pros
  • All products are designed for professionals
Cons

Denso 234-5970 part number

Denso model number 234000-5970 Why not buy Denso which is cheaper. I agree with other reviews, the cord is short and doesn't fit in the same hole. Would NOT buy again, not cheaper and easier to install with other sensors

Pros
  • Fully loaded with modern technology
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Factory Replacement Part

This is a genuine ACDelco part in an ACDelco box. Installation took 5 minutes and the new sensor resolved the P0171 code I had on my 5.3L. The original sensor I replaced had a fixed voltage of 0.96V, which combined with the readings from B1S2 indicated an internal short, not a bad bank 1.

Pros
  • Internationally known for our diverse range of award winning products
Cons
  • Vanish

ordered this OEM part for my 2005 Chevy Suburban. .

Ordered this OEM part for my 2005 Chevy Suburban. I bought two O2 sensors on each side of the pre-converter. One was new and the other was obviously exchangeable as there was anti-seize on the thread. I know you shouldn't mess with tips, so I have no idea if the customer dirty it or not, or if it was defective. I guess I'll have to wait to see if the code is there. Another issue was that the pigtail was too short to reach the mounting hole to hold the end of the connector, so I had to use a zip

Pros
  • High quality manufacturer
Cons
  • Big and bulky
