It was easy install and quick delivery but only lasted about 300 feet before it stopped reading. As a result, we were luckier with the analogue at the landfill. I wish I could say it's great, but it was a project truck so after the return window let me know it was bad.

I've had sporadic fluctuations in speedo and turn Google suggested that a speed sensor and/or too much fluid could be causing the same problem. I ordered a replacement part, it came in a few days. In the meantime I checked the fluid level and found that it was much higher than the XXXX mark on the dipstick. Approximately 20 ounces of fluid sucked out through the filler neck/dipstick. Problem solved. The sensor will later be installed in 97 Chevy 1500s with 225,000 miles. Many Thanks

Ideal for 2004 LS 4.2 I6 Trailblazer. When replacing, you will not lose any liquid. The old one is in good shape there, so just pull it straight out after you get the screw out. I used a screwdriver to slightly pry open the metal bracket and it popped out. I put some gear oil on the new VSS seal. I heard you can use motor oil too. Don't do much, just lubricate it a little to make it easier to slide into the hole without damaging anything.
