ACDelco 213 96 Original Equipment Detonation Review

This is the original factory replacement knock sensor for the Indmar Monsun 340 that is found in our Malibu Wakesetter. Great quality and a big difference in our boat's performance. It's essentially a microphone tuned to a specific frequency that detects knock and adjusts the engine controls accordingly. They become less sensitive over time, so they need to be replaced even if you don't get a code. Our boat has 400 hours, all stock has been removed.

Well I just can't say enough good things about this knock sensor. It was a direct replacement for my previous knock sensor which has seen better days. This replacement has been beautifully packaged in a small box of exceptional quality, providing added protection from the knocks it was expected to endure during the perilous journey from Mexico where it was born.
