🔧 GM Genuine Parts 219-230 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Gasket: Premium Quality Replacement for Optimum Performance Review

Used to replace EGR and gasket. Exact OEM match. No problem, that and a new Ac Delco EGR valve, my truck is running great now.

It's a gasket so not much to say. I bought this along with an ACDelco EGR valve for my 2001 Silverado and it has 100% fixed my idle issues.

I ordered this part in case the Delphi 10026 EGR which I ordered at the same time did not come with a gasket. It was listed as a compatible part by Revain but the bolt holes on the gasket do not match the holes for the EGR valve, luckily the EGR valve I ordered came with a suitable gasket.

I bought this to replace an old one after unbolting the EGR on my 99 Silverado 1500 5.3L 4WD 82,000 original miles to to check and wipe it. Screw the bolt with a dry rag as recommended, and then reinstall it, trying to find the cause of the one random RPM drop and subsequent engine stall for no apparent reason.

this definitely seems a lot better than the gasket that came with my new EGR valve which was just a thin piece of metal. It's thicker and has a kind of soft feel and just feels more premium. When you consider how much trouble a blown gasket can cause, there's no point in skimping on one when it's only $6 for a good one. This was for a 2000 Cadillac Deville and it fits like it should.

I replaced the EGR valve on my Silerado pickup and needed this gasket separately. This is a thick metal and slightly different compound seal. The EGR valve is a heavy valve that allows high temperature exhaust gases to pass through, so I think that is the reason for the special seal.
