OEM Maf works great on my Silverado 16

Works on my Silverado 2016 5.3l. My original MAF had corroded pins and stopped working. I was lucky that HPTuners disabled the maf and started the truck in speed density mode, so I was still able to drive the truck until this one showed up.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Reliable

The item is fine but defective.

Installed on August 6th and solved my problem. The part had already become unusable on October 1st and had to be replaced. The return window was September 4th. There is no way for the searcher to really know if the part is defective or not. If it could be returned within 1 year like what I bought today then it would be 5 stars. No problem with delivery, price or part description.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Vulgarity

OEM, works as stated

Must be replaced after the K&N air filter oil has damaged the MAF and caused trouble codes. Pretty easy replacement, the hardest part was finding the right size TORX to remove the two screws. After that it was plug and play. The fully enclosed design allows insertion in only one direction. Be sure to disconnect and reconnect the battery to allow the ECU to reinitialize with a new mass airflow sensor.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • When in doubt

Best car repair/maintenance this year!

I have a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. When accelerating slowly (1200-1500 rpm) I had slight dropouts. I was told it could be spark plugs, wiring, transmission, bad gas, the list goes on. Then I got to know the air mass meter. This sensor is very easy to change. Disconnect the wiring harness and remove the two screws. This new sensor and fifteen minutes of my time had my truck running like new.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • No Instructions

Great part for mass airflow

Fixed an issue with my wife's GMC Acadia that had code P0174 and it fixed the problem now my wife can stop yelling at me because the remote start is working again (if you have checked the engine light and are wondering why your factory remote stopped working, correct the code and it will work again) as a note, there is a hole where the touching part of this part is, do not touch it with bare hand oil coming off your skin will set it to action, which any brand of mass air flow sensor will do.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • fragile

ERROR CODE P0172 & P0175

My truck, 2015 GMC Sierra 1500, hesitated when you first cranked the truck and then the check engine light came on. I used my scanner to read the trouble code and it showed P0172 bank 1 and P0175 bank 2. I bought this replacement MAF. It was easy to install. It is near the air filter. All you have to do is unplug the cable connector, take a Torx T15 screwdriver to remove two screws, and then it slides right out. The exchange lasted 5 minutes. After installing the new one, the car started with…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
