Enhanced Performance with ACDelco Professional 252-284 Water Pump Kit Review

MADE IN CHINA. ACDelco water pump! For real? If I had known that, I would have bought the Made in Germany. I always try not to buy things from China because I've been disappointed too many times. I just installed it and not sure how durable it is. Looks normal, the impeller is metal. Fits well. With O-ring and four rivets. I didn't need the cleats but they are still too short.

A little worried this part would be different as I have an E56 SULEV engine and E46 is often found in my car I took a chance and it fits perfectly, I'm happy and my car looks happy too. Update 10/19/2018 after a year this pump has failed, driven less than 13,000 miles. very disappointing. Now I will go to Autozone to get my parts. This was my first time trying Revain but I'll just stick with Pep, Autozone or Orielly's. Thanks, 4-3 stars.

1. It was still cheaper for me to send it with 1 day delivery time than buying it at one of the local auto parts stores.2. But overall a good pump. It seemed well built. Let's see how it holds up. I used some petroleum jelly to lubricate the gasket to go into my engine because it was very tight. Made a nice print. The bolts provided to remove the old pump were just a waste of time as they were too short, but I had a couple of bolts that fitted the old pump perfectly. Let's see how long this pump lasts.
