Ideal. Exact replacement.

My no power/start problem has been solved. Easy to install but dealer needs to program it before it will work with your vehicle. Your vehicle will not function after a replacement is installed until it has been programmed.

Great product, great price, money back for what I don't like

This thing really saved me. In short, if you need BCM then this is the way to go. I ended up paying the dealer to install it because they had to program it, but it was the cheapest way to get a good fix for a problem you can't fix yourself.

After weeks of troubleshooting we have traced this back to a bad BCM. Good to know GM electronics are terrible.

We saved so much money by buying it, installing it and programming it ourselves. The total was less than $200 compared to the retailer's offer of around $1,000. 2007 z71 Silverado new body style, coincidentally nothing worked with no lights, keyless remote didn't work, when you tried to start the truck the dashboard lights up but doesn't try to turn the starter if you wait 10-20 minutes or I have did a few battery resets, it will most likely work again.
