correct material in dampers, struts and suspension

Although the 'classifier' said they could supply a comparable brand, the ACDelco product was supplied. Original equipment for my 2005 Suburban 1500 LS with "Premium Smooth". Suspension. Made in Canada.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

A true OEM replacement for the '05 Chevy Suburban 4x4!

Genuine OEM replacement for my 2005 Suburban 4x4 with Premium Ride Package. Just like the original which I removed after 175.xxx miles. Great price, fast delivery Prime. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Perfect fit for my 05 Yukon XL

Very easy to install, I didn't even remove the wheels for work. I replace my completely worn out shock absorbers with these. It took them about a week of driving to fully break in. But after that, the ride is nice and smooth.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Working speed

No thanks Bilstein, I'll stick with the OEM.

My 2005 Gmc Yukon XL Denali Z55 was recently upgraded to traditional shocks with a Bilstein HD 4600. The Bilstein ride was rough due to a lot of bumps in the road (internal tremors). . I live in New York, so potholes and bumps vibrate in the cabin. The Bilstein shocks weren't very good at absorbing those bumps, but they offered better control. Today I installed ACDelco 540-201 shocks and left Bilstein in the rear. Handling has improved a lot, but I'll admit it's a bit invigorating on some…

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Hard to say

They replaced the OEM shock absorbers that came with my 2004 Suburban 1500 LT and matched exactly. My truck had almost 100,000 miles on it and the ride quality was starting to suffer so it was time to replace the stock shocks. The RPO code for my Suburban was ZW7 (Premium Smooth Ride) but I didn't. There is an RPO code option Z55 and G65 for Autoride/Self Level (so I don't need Nivomat or Air Leveling shocks). There is a lot of confusion on the internet about option codes/RPOs relating to 04…

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • weak
