ACDelco 580 1093 Original Equipment Absorber Replacement Parts Review

Three items with different part numbers were listed for our application but this one proved a perfect fit. So far the shock absorbers have worked perfectly and we are satisfied. Delivery, service and quality seem excellent.

Perfect replacement for my '05 Escalade ESV. The early model is no longer made and they say they are for 07+ but they fit. Different part numbers refer to different options. Model 1091 is designed for magnetic riding. 1093 - for a long body (suburb, Yukon XL, etc.), 1094 - for a short body (Yukon, Tahoe). At least as far as I've found. Direct connection with the same connectors as 07+

Almost all replacement shocks (aftermarket) excluded the G55 Electronic Suspension Adjustment option. I spoke to Hotchkiss, a high-end aftermarket suspension manufacturer, and they offered their companies anti-roll bars and if I liked the original ride, I refreshed the shocks and struts and kept the original G55 electronic adjustment feature. So I did. The car feels good again, at 120,000 miles it wobbled a bit. Also, the original GM struts and shocks I bought from Revain were about 50% cheaper
