2004 Tahoe - this part failed to the point where we couldn't change the gear selector anymore! I checked out the video and YouTube and within 20 minutes this new part was in place. Works perfectly!

It was difficult to install easily but the problem was the cockpit was so rusted even with the glass it was hard work again was torn to salvage the layer cable. I went halfway and changed everything, both cables shift even better, good part, great price

fits the same as OEM. Routing was kind of a PITA. I only replaced half of the gearbox because on the old one I broke the plastic clip securing it to the bracket next to the pallet. Make sure you connect the two halves properly by sliding the free end out of the way with the e-clip already attached. Do not try to insert the cable and then install the e-clip.

This is a good original quality Delco cable! I have no complaints about the cable assembly! But to my dismay and disappointment, the cable does not come with the metal clips (which I believe are essential to get the job done) that secure the cable to the brackets on the steering column and gearbox.
