I installed this on a 2004 Silverado to fix the brake warning light. This is the same switch found on the $100 combo/proportional valve (21998450) that GM plans to replace if only the switch fails. Fits my 1997 Camaro RS. It screws directly into the metering valve (a small aluminum box that also fits the brake lines coming from the master cylinder. I replaced them to fix a leak on the old brake differential sensor, and it worked. I moved the o-ring). over the thread before screwing it in. There was a spring loaded ball valve under the sensor so I didn't lose any brake fluid when I removed the old sensor.
