ACDelco A975C Professional Air Filter Review

Not worth the money if not molded correctly, poorly bonded all over the filter and too much rubber was never properly cut at the factory. I could have done it accordingly, but I didn't have to.

A bit thin compared to the OEM, but it works. I prefer to change it regularly so I don't need a spacecraft for NASA. Filter paper pleated with a built in rubber pad should cost around $3.99 but cheap enough a good deal.

As expected, this is a well made filter from AC Delco. I particularly liked the price. I paid $5.85 which is a steal compared to other brands. The purchase included a $5 rebate coupon, bringing the cost down to just $0.85. This is the best deal I've had all year.

Says it will fit my car. It's not like this. I went to the AC Delco website. This product is listed as suitable for my car and a number of other cars. They don't like it. I'm trying to give it away and I can't even figure out who can use it. The installation guide says it will fit more cars than it actually does.

The clean side of the filter around the perimeter of the foam had loose adhesive or possibly mold remover around the perimeter of the filter. On the clean side, it would have easily been sucked into the engine if I hadn't scraped it off and vacuumed it. Rather spend a few cents more and opt for the top brand filter.

Received the air filter for a 2017 Infiniti QX60 SUV this afternoon and just installed it after dinner. Fits perfectly. The material is softer than the factory filter, but still fits perfectly. On the engine side it has a nice metal grille that supports the paper part of the filter. The journey took only one day. First class delivery at its finest!

Perfect fit for my '91 Pathfinder - and I was ashamed that I had waited so many years to test the old one when I saw it. I chose this air filter because of the attractive price (and the older one was the Fram which I usually like). This ACDelco appears to be of very good quality.

My 2017 QX60 lost 4mpg after installing this filter. After installation I reset my MPG meter and drove about 2,000 miles to make sure it wasn't a bug. After pulling out that Chinese trash filter and installing a $9 premium filter from a local parts store, my MPG immediately jumped 5mpg, 1mpg above average before I installed that one. my new filter, so maybe it didn't fit well? However, do not buy this filter if you have a QX60 or JX35. Purolator or CARQUEST Premium work much better on the QX60…
