Low quality cheap filter

Oh my god there is no cardboard frame for them at all! Pleated material only. Then it was too big and I had to "squeeze" it into the hole. I will be replacing it within the next 6 months but what a waste of money. Don't buy AC Delco. I suspect they sold to a middle east country and are now producing garbage.

Fits 2017 Chevrolet Volt

UPDATED: Instead of a screwdriver, you will need a 9/32" hex driver with at least a 6" extension to access the screws reach. Fits perfectly on the 2017 Chevrolet Volt. The Chevy owner's manual has installation instructions. Tip: You will need a long screwdriver for one of the screws to remove the glove box.

OEM replacement for 2017 Bolt Cabin Filter

Must be an exact replacement for the filter in my 2017 Bolt. While the filter material looks about the same, the construction feels a lot less solid. The original had a rigid frame, but the replacement was just paper. It doesn't matter as it corresponds to the compartment in the car. But it just seems a lot cheaper.

Fits Cruze 2016 (2nd Generation)

Same # as the OEM part I removed but the original filter was gray - similar to the carbon impregnated part #. We need to see if the new part will discolor over time or if the original was actually carbon fiber. As other reviews have said, search YouTube to see which panels need to be unscrewed to access the screws in the glove box. It's not hard work, but you have to tug on the panels and glove box to gain access.

Not like before. Now inferior item.

This filter works well for the car, but that's where the pros stop. folded paper with soft foam running on 2 sides only. Paper quality has also deteriorated over the years. The only reason I keep buying ACDelco now is for the installation. I have found that other brands may need trimming, cutting or adjustment to get the pieces to fit together. See for yourself, it's just not what it used to be.

Defective product is best in spare parts

I ordered another cabin air filter because the first one had an about 1 1/2 inch indentation on one side of the filter that couldn't be pulled out to make it roughly square as it should be. Unfortunately the first broken filter wasn't an accident, the second had dents on both ends but more so on one than the other (see bottom of attached image). I was hoping to replace the first broken filter with a new one but this is obviously from the seller or the product has persistent problems. Lest you…
