Great compass that really works

I love this keychain. When you get small compasses, most of the time they don't work. This one actually works and has a rotating bevel so you can actually take the bearing. This is a useful compass. If you are looking for a small compass, then this is the one for you.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Available in white only

Cool little compass

Great combination of compass and thermometer. Was expecting a cheaper Junkie but was pleasantly surprised. Feels relatively good, sturdy and durable, and build quality seems decent, especially for the money. As far as I can tell, fairly accurate. In general, a relatively cool gadget. overall pretty cool.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Appearance

Need a compass? Do you need a clinical thermometer? HERE

compass works great! The thermometer is a bit difficult to read but it does the job and is accurate. I took it on a 5 day mountaineering trip to southwest Utah and it was nice to know how cold the desert nights are without having to reach for my phone. I clipped it to my bag and was able to access it from the comfort of my sleeping bag.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Complete garbage - buyers beware

This thing is complete bullshit. The compass would get stuck so you couldn't get an accurate reading, and the thermometer wouldn't go below 60* even when well below zero - stayed overnight. The thermometer is also difficult to read because the writing is very small and the bubble keeps getting in the way. It's cheaply constructed, generally not even costing $6. I had to return for a refund.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Very cheap + chemicals but works

My biggest concern is the label on it that says "This chemical is known to the State of California to cause reproductive harm." Companies that have products that containing such a thing, no matter what percentage of the chemical, should be clearly identified in the purchase description. I could probably get one on the dollar tree because of the chemical part, and it was pretty cheap.

Pros
  • One year test
Cons
  • Doubtful

Precise and practical inexpensive compass for leisure!

Compass scale (pink) marked in 6 degree increments; it's easy to read, and the transparent dial is great for aligning with map grid lines. After aligning the compass to true north and verifying the current declination of +15.2 degrees for our Oregon area, the magnetic compass needle correctly points to "magnetic" north at approximately +15.2 degrees east. The thermometer is very small and doesn't work; It hasn't changed from the 72F (as shown in the photos) since unboxing, whether indoors or…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Almost OK

I have 4 of these - good for sports and outdoor activities. Accessories

Yes, I have 4 of them. I also have a couple of Sunto, Silva and Bruntons. This is very good value for money. They are not designed to create new maps or even to follow extremely precise lines. These are inexpensive, very light hiking/camping/driving approaches that make up for your smartphone's GPS loss in a few areas. I recommend learning the basics of orienteering, it's important to use the compass without a map. Again, if you can bring a topographical map of the area you are walking in with…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
