Perfect for our needs

This computer is perfect for our needs. We mainly deal with word processing, social media, email and gaming. The screen is much larger and easier to see than our last computer (which cost twice as much). It's light and very fast. We are so happy with our choice.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Hard to say

Laptop update (upgrade)

Great laptop, big upgrade from my old Acer Aspire which had a black screen after 3 years. Works very well and has a lot of internal memory. 10 months later, another black screen appears, Death out of nowhere. Factory reset tried, F keys with HDMI on. Nothing. I think the old Acer was more durable considering it didn't even last 1 year.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

No CD-ROM drive

Nice laptop that's easy to manage and set up. One downside is that it doesn't have a CD drive, but that wasn't necessary for our virtual training school. Has great protection.

Pros
  • Well made
Cons
  • No paint needed

Good entry-level laptop

I've always loved Macs, but I can't afford them anymore. I was looking for the cheapest laptop available so I can do online banking without using my phone (I like a real keyboard). I've never used Windows so it required some tweaking, but overall setup was easy and it's now easier for me to communicate with friends who send me Windows files. The only downside is that the storage space is very limited since I bought the cheapest version. I had no idea how much disk space just Windows Office…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Package found in yard destroyed

Upon receiving the computer it was found in the yard with the dogs chewing through the box and eating the wiring and Mark's teeth all over the computer. I don't know if it works because there is no charger left to power the battery.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Only available in black

Good basic laptop for the virtual school

Good basic laptop for the virtual school. Very light and long battery life. USB ports, webcam, trackpad, everything works great. This is a no-frills laptop, so the storage footprint is very small. No USB-C ports. There is no drive. There is no memory card slot. Ideal for surfing the web and creating Word/PowerPoint documents. When first started the laptop is in "S mode" which I was unfamiliar with, but apparently it's a locked version of Windows from which you can't load non-Microsoft programs…

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Minor problems

Worked great for 2 months

Update: Now 2 out of 3 laptops won't turn on! DO NOT BUY! waste of money! I bought 3 identical laptops to teach kids. Two laptops are great for what we need them for. The third turned on for a couple of months and then just showed a black screen. I took it to a repair shop and was told it was missing components like RAM. They said they were surprised he turned on at all. I cannot return the laptop as it has been more than 30 days since purchase. Very frustrating as I paid almost $1200 for all…

Pros
  • Free for Education
Cons
  • Coefficient Set

Ideal for home use.

I bought this laptop for my child to do distance learning at school. It loads fast, is lightweight, and has all the features I need. My daughter can use it alone which is a plus (she is 8 years old).

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best
