Monitor won't wake up from sleep mode - tried on multiple PCs. It happens so often that I throw it away and buy another monitor. And this happened with three different PCs using both HDMI and DP. Many others have complained about the same issue on the forums. I would not buy this monitor.

It's a gamble if you buy one. They are cheap and work well but I bought five of these, three of which died within the first 6 months. This one has less than two weeks to go and today he decided to give up. They are cheaply built and assembled and I suspect they contain poor quality circuit boards that will fail after some time of use. I'll stop trying to go cheap and now I'll buy quality, but it won't be Acer.

At $250, this monitor is only worth it if stock isn't available for others just over $300. It took a long time to adjust the colors so they don't look so washed out compared to the preview images. It also has significantly longer load times compared to my second monitor, typically no more than 10-15 seconds.

Sometimes they don't turn on. Randomly which of them decides to do this and at what time. Sometimes it's one, sometimes all three. To turn it on, unplug the power cord, wait for the amber status light to turn off, and then plug the power cord back in. You get stuck in limbo and none of the buttons on the monitor work without pressing/holding the power button. Unplugging the DisplayPort cable doesn't help either. I read somewhere about sleep/wake issues with this monitor but I haven't had any issues. By the way, it has built-in speakers. Good inexpensive 27" monitor.

I've been using this monitor at 1440p @ 75MHz with a GTX 1070 for over 4 months with no problems. Attaching to my existing monitor tree was easy. I use this PC for both work and play, so the display is regularly used 12+ hours a day and I've never had a problem. The picture is clear and bright. I don't think the contrast is the best I've seen, but for the price it's about as good as it gets.

Looks nice. Works well. And I really like the preset brightness modes, they help a lot when my eyes get tired. All in all a great option for a great monitor.
