You can take the screws from the vesa mount and use them for the stand, but I recommend using a vesa mount for a third-party monitor if you want to orient the monitor up and down. I recommend this monitor, 27" is too big for me but with the 1000R curve I don't feel like it's too big, I feel like the picture surrounds me like in a cinema. I can on the same monitor play and work now i am happy colors and picture quality are better than my previous LG 27GL83A-B ips gaming monitor.

First off, the lack of screws is just ridiculous at this price point. Luckily I had extra mounting screws in an unused wall mount that I have. Second, to connect an HDMI cable to the first HDMI port, you must bend the HDMI cable completely at its base because the stand gets in the way. That too is downright ridiculous at this price. I turned it on now to try it out. If the performance of this monitor does not completely exceed my expectations, I will immediately return it for another. Update…
